Match Making

4Secret offers a variety of unique Player vs Player game modes, each different providing exciting features and mechanics, so there's something for everyone. Every PvP game mode creates a competetive environment with a seemingly endless skill ceiling, and that's why everyone loves it so much!

PvP game modes have a few basic principles:

Equipment

Every player has access to balanced sets of equipment, independent of the equipment your character is wearing in Iberia. One set prioritizes physical defense while the other set focuses on magical defense, both of which have their advantages and disadvantages. This allows the player to choose the strategically best option.

Shift Spells

PvP game modes provide unique spells, also called "Shift Spells" or "S-Skills", which can be found above your skill bar. They are very powerful and have a long cooldown, so use them wisely!

Resurrection

If you die in a PvP game mode, you don’t have to run back to your corpse. You will be revived automatically after few seconds, but every PvP mode has a slightly different delay.

Dynamic Class Selection

Before signing up to a PvP mode, you are able to choose your class in the PvP-Lobby menu, independent of your class in Iberia. You can be an archer in Iberia and a warrior in PvP modes!

Ranking system

There is also a ranking system included in the PvP game modes, serving as a measure of your performance in PvP game modes. You unlock your rank after winning 10 PvP game modes, which are marked as "Ranked" modes in the PvP Lobby menu. By hovering over the various game modes you can see if it's a "Ranked" or an "Unranked" game mode. After unlocking your rank, you can see it at the top right corner of your PvP Lobby menu, or above your character. The rank icon above your head is visible to every player, but you can hide it via the game settings by ticking the option "Hide battlefield title":

Rewards

You receive rewards through the "History" located underneath the PvP Lobby.

How To Join PvP Modes?

Signing up for PvP game modes is done through the PvP Lobby menu. You can access it by clicking on the crossed sword icon at the top right corner of your game through the "Lobby":

If you have never played any PvP game mode before, you will be asked to choose a PvP nickname – it’s an account wide name that is only displayed in PvP game modes. After successfully creating your nickname, the main window with PvP game modes will show up:.

You can join PvP game modes alone or with other players from the same nation by inviting them with their PvP nicknames into your lobby.

Battleground

Battleground is Players vs Players game mode, in which two teams of 5 players compete for who earlier expels mighty Titans to the opponent’s base and thus defeats enemy team. Battleground takes place on a special map, that is divided into three lines, each one occupied by one Titan and his minions. Every team has own base, where players resurrect and there is also a merchant, who sells items, that will surely help you in battle.

Battleground is suitable for newbies, because every player has the same equipment, independent on the equipment in Iberia. Rewards are also granted to the team, which looses (in smaller rewards).

Battleground also offers the jungle located between the three lines and is occupied with neutral monsters, which drop special items, which are not obtainable otherwise. There are two bosses on the sides of the map, which are very tough, but they hide very strong elixirs, which will greatly affect the outcome of the Battleground.

Battleground e,offers unique system Bonus points (BP in short) – over the course of the game you will receive these BP, which you can trade for items at the merchant, or you can use them to upgrade your equipment! You receive BP for killing neutral monsters, Titans, enemy players, pretty much for everything! You can also buy elixirs, which are used for temporarily improving your character – you can find them in your inventory (default hotkey I).

And by the way, don’t be intimidated when you notice you are missing some skills – they will gradually unlock as you level up in the Battleground.

At the beginning of the Battleground you start with 1500 BP, we suggest you to buy a mount and a saddle. It is the most optimal first buy!

Certainly don’t forget to learn about special spells (shift spells, S-spells), which are usable in all Players vs Players game modes, which 4Secret offers!

Battle of World

Battle of Worlds is Players vs Players game mode, in which two teams of 10 – 49 players compete for victory. Battle of Worlds takes place on a special map, where every team has it’s own base with a merchant, who sells items and a statue, which is a fundamental of Battle of Worlds. The goal of every team is to defend the statue before the assault of enemy team and at the same time destroy the statue of enemy team.

Battle of Worlds is suitable for newbies, because every player has the same equipment, independent on the equipment in Iberia. Rewards are also granted to the team, which looses (in smaller rewards).

Battle of Worlds has easy rules:

  • Battle of Worlds lasts 40 minutes. Team wins, once a team reaches 10 points.
  • Every team starts with 5 points.
  • Destroying enemy statue gives team 1 point and the enemy team 1 point loses.
  • Statue respawns in 3 minutes after it has been destroyed.

If you would die in Battle of Worlds, don’t despair, after some time (rougly 20 seconds) you will revive automatically! In case you would need to get back to the battle faster, you can always revive in exchange for some Medails. You can buy Medails in the Item Shop! Be careful though, the cost of Medails increases dramatically after each instant revival!

Battle of Worlds offers unique system Battle points (BP in short) – over the course of the game you will receive these BP, which you can trade for items (teleportation scrolls, things for your mount, etc.) at the merchant. You receive BP for killing enemy players, destroying enemy statue and so on. You can also buy elixirs, which are used for temporarily improving your character – you can find them in your inventory (default hotkey I).

At the beginning of the Battle of Worlds you start with 1500 BP, we suggest you to buy a mount and a saddle. It is the most optimal first buy!

Certainly don’t forget to learn about special spells (shift spells, S-spells), which are usable in all Players vs Players game modes, which 4Secret offers! You can look at them during the preparation phase at the start of Battle of Worlds.

Where Can I Get Rental Equipment?

Beginnings in Iberia are always challenging and unpleasant. We don't want you to be killed by Valorian Morays or Derion Pumas right from the start of your journey as an iberian champion, so we changed the rewards of the first guiding quests and placed helpers with suitable equipment into the main villages (Kuznez in Derion and Lonbaley in Valorian) to ensure a smooth start in Iberia!

We have also prepared special packages with items, which will come in handy during your journey! In five level steps you will be able to open them to get supportive items, such as XP potions, upgrade items, upgraded equipment and so on.

Once you reach level 34, you can also buy rental equipment in the main cities (Markut in Derion or Keter in Valorian). There are three NPCs in both cities, offering special sets of rental equipment for three and five days. They sell armor, weapons, even jewelry! When buying jewelry, be careful to choose the right ones for your class. In general strength is good for warriors and nightwalkers, intelligence for magicians, summoners and priests and skill for archers.

Refer a Friend system

In order for you to be more motivated to invite your friends to play on 4Secret, we developed a brand new Refer a Friend system.

Every player has their specific Referral code, which is shown in their account information on our website. During a registration your friend can fill in your Referral code to refer you. If your friend buys moonstones, you will receive 5 % of that amount! Be careful though, in order to receive this gift, you CANNOT EVER PLAY on your friend’s game account. If you break this rule, you will be disqualified from the Refer a Friend system. You can find out if you are eligible to receive rewards through your account information on our website.

Quality of Life features

Equipment Preview

The inspect button serves as an in-game lexicon, thanks to which you can see the equipment of other players within your country, directly through the game.

Item Preview

Did you ever want to know how a specific item would look on you? Say no more! You can now view how all items would look on you by holding Shift key and right clicking an item. This also works via chat and works for mounts, costumes, etc. too!

Professions

Professions serve as an interesting way to create powerful items in a way, that connects multiple game mechanics together. There are four professions in total 4Secret has to offer, each having their own unique purpose:

  • Mining
  • Blacksmithing
  • Herbalism
  • Alchemy

The basics

Professions are divided into two main groups. Gathering professions and crafting professions. Gathering professions consist of Mining and Herbalism, crafting professions consist of Alchemy and Blacksmithing. At the same time Mining is connected to Blacksmithing, as in Blacksmithing you need metals from the Mining profession. On the other hand Herbalism is connected to Alchemy, as you need dusts and various items from flowers you collect via the Herbalism profession. For every profession you will also need specific tools, which can be bought at the "Tool Dealer" vendor.

Learning a profession

In order to learn a profession you have to be level 100. Then you have to visit profession trainers in the Elvedin Village, which is located on a new unique map - Tigeras. There are four profession trainer in total, guiding each of the four professions. In order to pick up a profession, you have to talk to one desired profession trainer. Be careful with your choice, as you may only have one active profession per character! If you already have a profession and want to learn a new one, you have to forget your current profession first. You can forget a profession by right clicking your profession trainer and clicking "Forget". Note that you will lose ALL your progress and your current profession will be entirely reset.

Mastering your profession

Once you have chosen your desired profession, you may work on mastering it. Every profession has its own specific supplier, who is selling various profession recipes. All the recipes can be unlocked by double clicking, if you satisfy the given level requirement. At first you might only be able to unlock a few recipes, which have a level requirement of 0. Note that the recipes not only unlock certain crafts at your profession trainer, but also the ability to gather certain materials in the areas surrounding Elvedin Village. In order to level up your profession you must gather or craft the materials and items, that are displayed in a yellow color at your profession trainer, until you reach a certain level that unlocks new recipes. After passing a certain level some of your crafts and gathers will turn from yellow to green at your trainer, which indicates that you cannot obtain further experience through that activity and should progress to more advanced recipes. As you gradually level up your profession, you will unlock more and more recipes. You can see your current profession progress by just talking to your profession trainer.
